Iwona Kamila Wawer is Professor of Physical Chemistry at the Medical University of Warsaw (from 1995). She graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Warsaw where she earned her PhD degree in 1976. She was then awarded a postdoctoral Scholarship in Germany, at the Technical University of Karlsruhe, under the “German Academic Exchange Service” scheme.  Her research interests include structural and molecular interactions studies of bioactive compounds using multinuclear NMR (solid state) and EPR. Actually, she is working on development of antioxidant food supplements.
